Kid number 2 is already out. Check out the photos in Facebook. Kid 1 has turned 3 and Kid 2 is 4 months! Now, a year ago, I thought having Kid number 2 would be easy, breezy (line stolen from ANTM.."easy breezy cover girl").
Reality hits hard...haha...Really hard.....I am *still* struggling with night feeds!! I don't know if I ever want to do this again. So, project #3 may not even happen. :P
I'm itching to go on another holiday...
But with the current economic crisis, I'm not even sure if I can afford it. Seriously, it's hitting really close to home. I mean, someone got "cut" in the office today. That was a major shocker! And bad timing too!
So let's home for a better day. Let's hope I still have a job tomorrow!
And less than a week to Hari Raya....wow....selamat hari raya eh korang korang semua :)
So this Ramadhan was pretty challenging. I thought I could fast for the whole month...LOL...so ambitious kan. Well, whadaya know, I was on mc for a total of 5 days in a month! Hahaha!
And if you're thinking about baking cookies for raya, well, I only did one type of kuih raya. Yang lain, beli je lah...
Fanfan WILL go to school in Jan 09. Can't backed out now. Register already..hur hur! He will start pre-nursery. 3 times a week, 3hrs per session. Should be that bad right? Right? Right? Right? He'll be 33 months next Jan! I think I will have seperation anxiety!
With a little luck, I am actually all alone in the house. The kiddo is out jalan raya with nyai and company. The husband is out enjoying his company's Dinner and dance. The blog is almost dead. Haha..It is date. Apparently, I have no time to do an update. So that's it. I need to do the laudry. Till we meet again...probably next month...when we're back from Bangkok!
I've finally finished editing the Krabi and BKK photos. Will be uploading it tonight (provided fotopages doesn't die on me). This will be my last week of work here in Tuas *do the ribena jump*. HAHA! There is nothing seriously wrong working here. It's just the distance (and the pay!). HAHA! Anyway, I think I will miss the people here (not the WORK!). Less than 2 hours more to 6pm, so I shall do some mindless ramblings. Fanfan woke me up at 2.30am this morning. Just to shit, while standing up. Really. No kidding. In my sleepy state and half closed eyes, I actually stood in front of his cot and said "faster shit can? i'm very sleepy" 15 minutes later, I was pretty sure he was done and proceed to change him. The smell, god, the smell, woke me up instantly. I can't describe the smell. It's too complicated. Brought him to the sink to clean him up, made his milk and put him to sleep. By then it was 3.15am.
We are back! Fanfan is ONE. And I'm still sane! One holiday post coming right up. So be patient, while I clear my 200-something work e-mails....*faints*
Mummy's been telling me over and over again to be at my best behaviour while on the plane. She will throw me over should I decide to have my classic tantrums. *so evil*
I will be turning ONE in 2 days' time, so hold your presents till I get back! :D
In the meantime, have a great weekend and I'll see you again in 9 days!
I am so glad that I don't work on weekends. It means I get to spend 2 full days with Fanfan. When he was still tiny, weekends are mostly spent in shopping malls, either in town or in our very own heartlands (namely causeway point..hee hee) And now, when he's a lil bigger, shopping malls don't really appeal to him anymore with the exception of Toys R'Us. He's just facsinated with the neverending aisles and the toys there. Anyway, I'm always thinking of new places to go with the lil one. And I am running of ideas. Saturday mornings are reserved for breakfast at MacDonalds (Ridout Tea Garden....i love love love this branch!), and then swimming at 11am. We'll be back home by 1pm for a home cooked lunch. Fanfan will have his nap (he usually nap longer (at least 2hrs) after swimmming), while we do the housework as fast as we can...hur hur! We are usually out of the house again by 5 plus. Most of the time, we drive to town to do window shopping or meet up with friends (with their babies in tow) for dinner. It's always fun to watch how Fanfan interacts other kids or other adults for that matter :). And we'll be back home by 9-ish, and the babe will be in bed by 10. We try to spend the Sundays either strolling in the park or relaxing by the beach. I love the recent "Concert: Local Flavours with a Twist" held at the Botanic Gardens. It was very entertaining, despite of the rain and all. Sentosa is another place that I love. The fact that they have a shallow area (no seawater!) for kids to splash around is just brilliant! I always love going to family friendly places. :) :) :)
My heels got stuck on the escalator at the MRT station. And it broke! My paper bag (with my jacket inside) fell into a puddle of water. And all these have to happen when I have an interview at 3pm. How?! How?! How?!
The wedding frenzy is gonna start real soon. I've got a Tkgian wedding to attend next week. One TPian on 1st April, which I think I will have to do an amazing race that day since I will only reach SG at 3pm! (no one million dollars but I do hope I'll see that million dollar smiles on both the bride & groom). One more TPian in May and one gorgeous GrandmaM in July (I am looking forward to this one!!
Ah, Krabi and Bangkok in 3 weeks time! I LIOKE!!!!
There's a lot of things going on in my life right now. So that explains the lack of updates. Fanfan's been growing up so fast that I can hardly breathe! One more month to the big ONE! Scary isn't it? I was just commenting to the husband about it this morning. Talking about the big ONE, we have decided to do away with the big birthday bash thingy. I just can't deal with the problems that will come before and after the party.....heh! I think we'll just have a threesome party , me, daddy and baby. Very simple, very hassle free, very cheap....har har har! Things at work are not looking rosy at all. Seriously, I want to quit and move on to a different environment. It's been 4 years here and I think it's about time. My priorities have changed. With the baby and all, I need more than money. I need stability. More than ever. I think the coming March vacation will give me the boost I need to move on. Come on people, cheer me on, so that i have the courage to step out of my comfort zone and start looking on the other side.
p/s: I've been receiving hate tags over the cbox. If you're reading this, I would just like to thank you. Btw, it would be great if you don't tag using any of my family's name, because I don't think they'll appreciate that at all :) And yes, I delete comments that I don't like.....har har har!
It's been ages since I last blogged. The last few weeks have been really, really hectic. Lil Fanfan was down with flu. It was horrible. I feel horrible. The late nights, the constant crying, the terrible coughing fits that kept him irritable, the vomitting, the countless visits to the doctor, the allergy reaction that came after.... And he's so thin now...he lost so much weight! Thank God he is on the road to recovery... He should be up and crawling (no running yet!) by end of this week. And time to fatten him up again!
